Say No to the Contract
Traditional alarm companies force customers to sign long-term contracts for monthly monitoring. Ring doesn’t. The point of alarm monitoring is for someone to follow-up and call the police or fire department if your alarm is triggered. It’s kind of a commodity so long as its reliable and all major brands provide reliable service. There’s little value in paying more or getting locked into a long term contract.
Cameras
Everyone needs to feel safe at home so the right number of cameras is different for everyone. Doorbell cameras are great at detering package thieves and useful to see who’s at the door. Cameras around pools or ponds are really important for safety. Additional cameras can deter thieves and be useful to see what’s happening.
